Rafelita Viera

Rafelita Viera is a material handler in the Valin Austin, TX office. A priority customer switched from their long-active Supplier Network Gateway (SNG) online shipping portal to PACT, the Partnership and Collaboration Tool. Training on PACT through the customer’s personnel began in late August of 2023, but the portal was unavailable for use until late November 2023. The more than two-month gap with familiarity and training with the system presented challenges Valin needed to navigate in real-time. Rafelita became the unofficial Valin expert for the new shipping system. She trains and offers support for material handlers in the warehouses where the new shipping system is present. She also supports inside sales and the Quality department with PACT when required.

Rafelita stepped up and drafted work instructions for PACT. This was not asked of her or required but done simply because she saw a need. Rafelita’s support along with the work instructions are invaluable in traversing the new shipping portal and applauded by her peers within Valin. Those whom Rafelita has supported with PACT have acknowledged appreciation for how she always takes time from her schedule to help and lend support when needed.
 

When Rafelita is asked for help or tasked with an action item you can be confident it will get done. She ensures Valin exceeds customer expectations and consistently prioritizes their needs by arriving at the office early to get in front of urgent shipments or by staying late to receive a past-due shipment. Rafelita is an integral part of the Austin logistics team and Valin.
