Without hesitation, Alfonso drove to the carrier location, collaborated with them to find the assembly, updated the address, changed the shipping method, and paid the required service fee to make these changes.

This shipment was vital to the customer and carried visibility to the executive level. Had Alfonso not intervened, and the shipment gone via ground service, it would have caused a significant disruption to the customer’s supply chain. It would have also affected confidence in Valin’s ability to respond effectively to the customer's demands. Alfonso’s sense of urgency to intercept the shipment and pay the fee required to reroute it overnight ensured that Valin kept its commitment and demonstrated that it continues to be a top-tier supplier.
