IAI SCON2 Position Controller with Safety Monitoring Function
IAI's SCON2 controller includes a safety monitoring function for safe control of single axis actuators. The built-in fan allows SCON2 controllers to be installed 1mm apart from each other reducing installation area over 50% compared to the previous SCON.

This controller enables the use of a single-axis actuator without a safety fence or a drive-source cutoff. Robots can work safely along with people without stopping production.

The force is strong with this one. It's now possible to input push force in N increments at the force-controlled push motions in positioner mode instead of as % only.

Communication with the PC teaching software, IA-OS is possible via the field network communication port. Special cables are not necessary and the cable can be plugged/unplugged, making the maintenance easier.
