Parker’s Electromechanical & Drives Division announced another expansion of the ACR7000 series product line. The ACR7000 series combines performance, value and scalability that exceeds OEM expectations. With the power and flexibility of the AcroBasic language, the ACR7000 series is the perfect building block for customer-specific motion system solutions.

The latest release of ACR7000 adds multi-axis motion controller variants along with an update of the Parker Motion Manager software development tool. The ACR7000 Controller can command up to eight servo or stepper drives and is suited to a wide range of new applications but is also designed to be a near drop-in replacement for ACR9000 controllers.

Parker's ACR7000 Multi-Axis Motion Controllers Hardware Features Include:

  • Four and eight axis models
  • 800MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
  • Ethernet communications, RJ-45 Connection
  • +/-10 volt, 16-bit resolution analog outputs for servo drives
  • Up to 2.5 MHz stepper output
  • 20MHz encoder inputs
  • 24VDC control power and dedicated Enable Input circuit
  • Opto-isolated I/O including high-speed digital inputs and encoder-based outputs
  • Optional 16-bit resolution analog inputs
