Availability
The Aries drives were introduced in 2003 and have many older components that are obsolete or difficult to procure. Over the last several years, Parker has made efforts to extend the life of the products through stocking of obsolete components and design changes. There are several critical components where this approach is no longer possible.
Orders will be accepted until September 30th, 2020. Shipments can be scheduled through December 2020. Repairs will be supported for three to five years.
Suggested Replacements
The P Series is the best replacement option for the Aries, supporting the same control interfaces and most of the same motors as the Aries. The Compax3 is also a suitable option especially for customers already familiar with the C3 drives and software. The P Series is the newer and most cost effective of these options.
