Discontinuation of relay terminal unit A6TE2-16SRN and associated cables
Mitsubishi Electric has issued a statement regarding the discontinuation of the A6TE2-16SRN relay terminal unit and its associated cables. The decision to discontinue these products is primarily due to the aging production and inspection facilities, as these products were originally released in 1997. Additionally, the main components, specifically the relays, are no longer being produced. Despite our efforts to secure a continuous supply through negotiations, it has proven challenging for the original equipment manufacturer to maintain the availability of this product. Discontinuation of CC-Link IE Field Remote I/O MIL Connector Type Modules
Mitsubishi Electric has released an announcement regarding the discontinuation of the MIL connector type for CC-Link IE Field remote I/O. The reason for this decision is the unavailability of essential components, particularly the output device, which is no longer in production. Unfortunately, there are no suitable substitute parts to continue manufacturing, leading to the discontinuation of this product. It's important to note that there is no alternative product available in this model. As an alternative solution, we propose transitioning customers to CC-Link IE TSN remote I/O (IEF mode) with either screw terminal or spring clamp terminal connections. If customers prefer the MIL connector type, we recommend considering FA goods offered by MEE as a substitute.Discontinuation Date: October 31, 2023
