Discontinuation of AnS Series renewal tool extension base and power unit, L Series power unit slim type and large capacity battery unit for MELSEC-A Series
Mitsubishi Electric has made an announcement regarding the discontinuation of certain products. The AnS Series renewal tool extension base units and power unit will no longer be available, along with the slim type power unit of the L Series and large capacity battery unit for A Series. These decisions were made due to the unavailability of necessary components that are no longer being produced. Unfortunately, there are no suitable substitute parts to continue the manufacturing process. It's worth noting that there is no alternative product within the same model range.To provide an alternative solution, we propose that customers transition to the Q or iQ-R Series. It's important to note that the Q series and iQ-R series extension base units are not compatible with the A1S unit. However, the QA1S51B (without power) can be utilized as a suitable replacement (1-slot extension base). In the case of the L Series, we recommend using the standard size power unit, which is slightly larger in size. The A6BAT will continue to be available.
